A few tips to help you make the most of the weekend in Ericeira.
Ericeira is a World Surfing Reserve. Bring your swimsuit and sunnies! Don't miss Ribeira d'Ilhas and Foz do Lizandro beaches.
For fresh seafood, try Furnas or Ribas Marisqueira. For something casual, Mar d'Areia is a must. Mar das Latas is fancier and delicious, Buco Smash Burger is a local favorite, and Onegai for Japanese.
Dear Rose for specialty coffee, Terço do Meio for pastries and fresh bread, Magic Quiver for the surf vibe, and Vizinha in Santo Isidoro for a hidden gem.
Café, cantina, grocery, studio, and sauna all in one. Great for a healthy meal, events, or just a good vibe. A local favorite.
The village is small and walkable. For anything further, just grab an Uber. They work well in the area.
Every Wednesday we host a coworking day at our place. If you're in town on April 15th, you're invited to join! Hurley Café and Balagan are also great spots to work from.
Our home has a sauna, pool, and jacuzzi. Feel free to use them while you're in town, even during the week! We'll also have a group workout with a personal trainer on Wednesday (April 15th).
April in Ericeira is pleasant but can get cool and windy in the evenings. Bring a light jacket or hoodie and comfortable shoes.
Portugal uses Type F power plugs (same as most of Europe). The currency is Euro (€). Most places accept card, but bring some cash for smaller spots. Tap water is safe to drink.
Getting There
Fly into Lisbon Airport (LIS). Ericeira is just 35–40 minutes from there. Here are the best ways to get from the airport to us.
We recommend these two drivers for a smooth, reliable transfer from the airport to Ericeira. Just call or WhatsApp them directly to book.
Both apps work well from Lisbon Airport to Ericeira. Quick to book and a convenient option if you prefer not to drive.
Rent a car at the airport and drive to Ericeira via the A21 highway, about 40 minutes. Great if you want to explore the coast on your own. Parking is available in town.
